“THIS weekend saw some of Coventry’s finest musicians come together to support a local charity.
Over £300 were raised at the Kasbah nightclub, on Primrose Hill, where The Ripps headlined the gig for Coventry Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (CRASAC), which provides free support, counselling and advocacy to women, men and children who have been raped or sexually abused at any point in their lifetime”.

“SOME of the city’s biggest bands are on the bill to play a charity gig for a local support centre for victims of rape and sexual abuse.
The Kasbah nightclub, in Primrose Hill Street, Hillfields, is hosting the gig on Saturday August 4 in aid of CRASAC (Coventry Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre).
Heading the line-up will be Coventry band The Ripps, who will play songs from their latest album Heartaches and Hangovers.
They will be supported by bands Light Cascades and Escape In Paris.
